1999 is the 23rd Year Of Publication In this period the The Afghan Hound Year Book has published photographs and pedigrees of all UK Champion Afghan Hounds. The personalities who have written "A Glimpse Into The Past" have included; Molly Sharpe (Chaman), Peggy Riley (Bletchingley), Ida Morton (Netheroyd), Eileen Snelling (Khorrassan), Juliette De Bairacli Levy (Turkuman), Shelia Devitt Gilleney (Carloway), Bill Hall (Barbille), Margaret Niblock (Khanabad), Wyn Leest (Chitral), Roy Wilson (Khoniston), Marna Dods (Horningsea) written by her peers, Helen Barnes/Father Ford (Davlen), Alan Brooks (Bondor), Di Bowdler-Townsend (Moonswift), Sid Pollock (Tarril), Doreen Walmsley (Khyber), Ann Adams (Badakshan), Daphne Gie (Jagie), Anna Paton (Amudarya), Misses Kean and Mackenzie (Ajman), Clifford "Doggie" Hubbard, Monica Booth (Sacheverell). The Afghan Hound Year Book has grown from 177 pages in the the first volume of 1977 to over 388 pages by 1999. Advertisments have grown in the same period from 40 pages to 150 pages, with an increasing number from overseas. Back numbers are still available and special hard backed edition (sets) are also available.
