Welcome to the homepage of Yabat el Chilab Afghan Hounds.
25 years of selective breeding to both American (Coastwind) and English (Kharisar and Khanabad) bloodlines have produced afghan hounds with correct conformation, sound movement and even temperament. Our line produces the whole colour range from blues to blue brindles, creams, whites, apricots, dominoes, black and tans and also black masked golds.
We have recently introduced genes from the distinguished Du Menuel Galopin Afghans of France, by mating Yabat el Chilab Farrah (litter sister of “Donna” and Melika), to “Lover”, Lieutenant du Menuel Galopin of Jori. We had a wonderful litter of 5 dog and 2 bitch puppies colours ranging from black and brindle through brindle, black masked gold, to black masked cream. The litter looks very promising and we hope that they will make an impact in the show ring from next year
onward.
