Aust Ch. Mauresque Sheer Mischief


This is a pic of me (Andrea) and Aust Ch. Mauresque Sheer Mischief or "Sally" to her friends. We are shown at Western Australia's top honours show... The Contest Of Winners, whereby invitations are extended for the top few dogs in each group to compete for the title of WA's Top Showdog of the Year. "Sally" came a close runner up at this prestigious event!!

Sally is currently leading Top Hound of the Year Pointscore and has some very top honours to her name. Including Runner-up Best In Show at the Western Classic (West Australia's most prestigious show) and Multiple Bests In Show at All Breed Shows. Sally is a very consistant winner and together we have achieved a tremendous amount for her tender age of 2 1/2.

Photo above taken on the day of Best Exhibit In Show with Sally at the FDC Championship Show. The prize for which was a colour TV which her owner graciously let me keep!!


Aust Ch Baggybush Touch of Thomas (IMP UK)


This is Aust Ch Baggybush Touch of Thomas (IMP UK) who lives in NSW with his owner Rose Dillon. I was honoured to be able to handle this beautiful Old English Sheepdog at the OES National in Victoria 1996. "Tom" and I also won the junior handlers class together while in Victoria.

This is 'us' with Judge Max Winch on the day of the State Final of the Pal Junior Handlers. I was chosen to represent Western Australia in the National Junior Handler competition. The American Cocker Spaniel I handled was lent to me by Debbie and Paul Wilkes, whom I thank very much for the honour of handling 'Sidney'.


"Bandit"


"Bandit" - This Bearded Collie was my first showdog. He is the reason I began in dogs. I first met 'Bandit' as a 6 week old puppy, and together we achieved some wonderful results. While I showed him, 'Bandit' became a multi-Best In Show winner, and consistant group winner. In his peak, 'Bandit' won several notable awards, such as:
* Runner Up Top Working Dog - W.D.C Pointscore 1995
* Top Bearded Collie - C&SSC Pointscore 1995/96
* Top Bearded Collie In Australasia - Friskies / National Dog Pointscore 1995
* Overall Top Winning Dog - C&SSC Pointscore 1995/96.

He was a great dog to handle, and thank his owner/breeders Heleen & Albert Innes for the introduction into the dog world, in late 1991. Not many people can say they handled their first dog to be a multi BIS winner!!!

In Junior Handling, I am proud to have the following achievements:

* C&SSC Top Junior Handler 1992, (Junior Class) 1993, 1994, 1995, (Senior Class)

* Pal Challenger Series Winner 1997
* Proplan Finalist 1997 (Senior Class)

(I am too old to participate in Juniors now, but still carry fond memories and quite often teach and judge the junior handlers of today)
