is out to get her American Championship, and is already
half way there. A Special thanks to Breeder/Judge
Carol Esterkin for her first major at The Memphis Show.
At nearly six years of age she is still coming
on strong, so watch for her in 2003.

not only do we have our exciting French bred youngster Oompapa -
we now have his sire "Inditu Chahcheran (photo below) here with us!!

We are so excited about Inditu joining his son - Oom Pa-Pa Chahcheran, both bred by Bev Ward in France. Inditu took a detour en route to Nevada USA - he stopped off and spent some time with our great friends at Jatabe Afghan Hounds in Spain. Here is another picture of Inditu taken at the Jatabe kennels
The pedigrees are of strong Branwen breeding which is founded on, and perpetuates, the early lines of Sunny Shay's famous Grandeur kennels.
Chahcheran is the affix of Bev Ward who moved from the UK to France a decade ago where she has continued to breed and preserve the Branwen lines.

Branwen is the affix of Cynthia Bosivain (nee Madigan) who obtained her first Afghan, Diablo Of Grandeur in 1959 whilst resident in New York. In 1961 Mrs Bosivain moved to Spain where she established the Branwen kennels and also imported another Grandeur Afghan, Kustar Of Grandeur who was in whelp to Hajji Baba of Grandeur.
The legacy of the original Grandeur lines is continued via the Branwen's and Chahcheran's and Oom Pa-Pa.
It is no coincidence that my friend Stephanie Hunt-Crowley (Chandhara) is the owner of Oompapa's littermate Oolala. Stephanie acquired Chandhara Branwen Sheen Kamri when she was living in England in the 1960's, so the excitement of this Chahcheran breeding extends from Maryland to Nevada!

We also have a great USA bred Afghan - Can Ch Fabelhaft Say That Ya Luv Me (Jetta). ..Bred by Marilyn Thompson (Seistan) and James Dalton. Litter sister to Mult. BIS, SBIS GRAND Australian Ch. Seistan's Heart T'Beat. "Packer" is the first imported and the YOUNGEST to achieve this grand championship title. His show record is 49 BOB's, 11 Group 2's, 31 Group 1's, 9 Runner-up BIS and 16 BIS's. He is #9 all-breed and #2 Afghan Hound.
