Soukistan Afghans

The Lurekillers pageFrom the beginning I have been involved both in shows and in "sporting" : track racing & field coursing. All my dogs (not yet the P-litter) have the double title "Champion Beauté-Performance" that is for dogs with both CAC/CACIB and racing/or coursing wins.
I stay away from the tracks since a couple of years, because the stock you meet there nowadays is, to me, no longer worth competing with. They are as fast as Salukis, that is 4 seconds faster than on a 480-m track than any other Afghans -at least those with some normal coat.
So I decided to stop wasting money on track racing, and just take my dogs to a sand track twice a month for training.

Got the "rabbit" ! CH Soukistan Fairway Khan, French Coursing Champion, LSPC, LSPP, GPX 93-93-95-96

LSPC is Lauréat Standard Performance Course
LSPP is Lauréat Standard Performance Poursuite
Those titles are DUAL CHAMPION titles, requiring wins in both the show ring (2 CAC or CACIB), and on the track for (for "Course") or Field (for "Poursuite")
These titles are equivalent to the German CH Schönheit und Leistung
GPX means Grand Prix SCC. This is a yearly race, for dogs who have won either a CACIB (category 1) or two CAC (category 2).
To win this title, the dog must also run within a certain time limit, which is defined for each track (and indeed for each breed).
Note that Fairway Khan won it 4 years, which is unequalled todate.
