Here are a couple of photos of Benneton. (named after the F1 racing team). She is very typical of all the comments made on your web page. Willful, very smart, loving, fast runner, not entirely obedient but always willing to make amends.
Got her form a local amateur breeder. Her dad was a huge monster who was utterly wild and mom was a rescue who was very pensive. One of a litter of three. Unfortunately she came to us with scabies and various ear infections due to unclean circumstances. (not quite cruelty but not the best of conditions). I managed to contract it also. Apparantly it is rare for humans to get but let me tell you it is not fun. Take pity on strays! She is now in top shape and the most gentle-mouthed canine I have ever owned. She would not snatch even a steak out of your hand. She gently takes anything with the utmost manners.
She loves to wrestle with our 9 and 11 year old boys. She is a family dog and defies all attempts to keep her groomed. Rolling in the dirt is wonderful! Loves to ride in cars, sit on laps!! (bad dog). Very fast runner and must be kept on a leash when out of the yard. She is now 15 months old. She has been spayed in the interest of health and long life. Quite a bit of work but one of the most interesting dogs I have ever met and owned.
