Thank you again and I reiterate that all the information provided will be held in the strictest confidence. The information provided on this questionnaire will be retained by Mr C Lewis for the purpose of research into the Sudden Death Syndrome. From time to time Mr C Lewis will report on the findings as and when they are relevent to the breed as a whole. He may wish to contact a particular breeder should he feel that evidence as it comes to light is pertinent to that breedery, the contact between the them will be strictly confidential.
Everyone should be aware that what appears, on the face of it, to be a hereditary problem may be a misfortune of circimstance or environmental factors that we are only just begining to find out about with the rapid advances in scientific investigation techniques.
