Tony Parnham, Hon. Sec for The Saluki Welfare Fund has sent me the following information. “At the Championship show the welfare stall had a champion day. The stall made with donations £297.15 and the sale of mugs (thanks to Rosie and Jessica Lewis ed.) made £148.10. The money from the Welfare raffle has still to be finalised. The winner of this raffle for a solid gold bangle was Mrs McCormick-Smith. There were many other prizes and if you fancy a quick G & T, drop in on Kevin Carter. The level of support for welfare from club members never ceases to amaze us and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their generous donations and support. The new range of Christmas cards based on drawings by Margaret Baker will be available at LA, if you did not get to The Championship Show or alternatively ring Daphne or Tony on 01621 772092”
Next week I shall enclose Phillip Browning Chairman’s report for the Welfare fund.
