SALUKI NOTES WEEK ENDING 27 NOVEMBER 1998

Ann Shimmin, the editor of “The Saluki” has asked me to give everybody a reminder regarding the copy date for ‘The Saluki’, which is Friday, 11th December (Hound day at L.K.A). Ann will not be there as she will be on holiday at the time. Nicola Quadling will be happy to ‘gather everything in’ and try and answer any queries. Any items forwarded direct to Ann, prior to this date, will obviously be gratefully received and of course anyone is welcome to contact her by phoning 01624 620715, to discuss any difficulties that they may be having. The magazine will, again, be featuring a full colour cover and if someone has a good quality colour photograph and would like to take the advertising space, on the back cover, please contact Ann prior to her departure on holiday, rather than when she returns mid December. I have been also told by a reliable source ( most likely it was Helen) that Nicola will also have some club calendars, at LKA, for those of you that missed them at the club show.

On a sad note, Sue Allen phoned to tell me she had lost her Mumtaz Serenade to cancer. Our condolences go to you and your family.
