SALUKI NOTES WEEK ENDING 26 MARCH 1999

Crufts, 1999 is now over. The show has become a huge canine trade fair, The trade stand holders send the exhibitors reams of paper with tempting offers of food and other health items, plus those that are fortunate enough to win the annual prizes offered by the large food companies, must pick up their awards. The problem is actually moving from place to place with the large crowds. I suppose the answer is for exhibitors, if you want to exhibit and visit the many trade stands then two days at Crufts is a must.

The BOB, DCC for his first Challenge Certificate was Mrs H. Graham's Daxlore Mirabile. He was bred by his exhibitor. His sire is Daxlore Aurelianus and dam Daxlore Kashala. His date of birth was 6th December, 1996. The RDCC was Mrs P Kendall's Ch Gulzar Al-Mutakaabbir. BCC, for her second Challenge Certificate is Mrs D Derfield's Gulzar Al-Laatu of Zardek. (sister of the RDCC winner) Her breeding is: sire, Ch Ishieya Asiil and dam Ch Alaziz Nefertiti of Gulzar. She was bred by Mers P Kendall and born 22nd February, 1995. RBCC was Mr A Rawson's Mumtaz Star Maker.

Daxlore Mirabile, or William as he more often referred to, plus his proud owners would like to thank everyone for the congratulations and kind words offered at his success.
