Hi everyone: Pasting and copying, home you receive information ok
CC’s were on offer again at the Hound Association of Scotland, Championship Show and Mr Dave Barrett was judging. He was awarding Challenge Certificates for the first time. BOB,DCC was the newly crowned Cottonore Dameris owned by Ms. Jo Webb. RDCC was Ms. Linda Langton’s Al Caliphs Suhayl. BCC, thus making her a champion, was Mr Roy Goodby’s Wahiba Dhakhia. Dhakhia was born on the 21st September 1991 and was bred by her exhibitor. Her sire was Knightellington Vagrant and dam Knightellington Wasmiya at Wahiba. RBCC was Mrs Buz Faber’s Kasaque Huntress of Suffeina. Best puppy was Mrs Ann Barrett’s Mabrooka Shaqira. Well done all.
Five days after the Scottish Hound Show was Crufts. The show piece of The Kennel Club and also the place to be seen if you have anything dog orientated to offer. Did anyone see the pre-Crufts advertisement for the show on the television? There was a Saluki in the advert, can anyone advise me who it was?
The Crufts results are as follows: The BOB, and DCC for his first Challenge Certificate was Mrs Paulene Kendall’s Gulzar Al-Mutakabbir. He was born on 13th April, 1995 and bred by his exhibitor. His sire was Ch Ishieya Asiil and his dam Ch Alaziz Nefertiti of Gulzar. RDCC was Mrs Christene Norvell’s Dakhilak Ajilan. BCC for her third Challenge Certificate was Mrs Doreen and Mr Eric Stansfield’s Ishieya Umniyah. She as born on 28th August, 1991 and bred by her exhibitors. Her sire was Ch Daniel Ibn Soloman Ishieya and her dam Hannah of Ishieya. RBCC was Mrs Francine and Mr Keith Hadfield’s Bamjoeh Beguine of Lokhandar. Although ill health precluded my presence, I am advised by Helen that, as usual, the day was hectic with loads of old friends to chat to and new people to meet. Renewing the acquaintence of our overseas visitors is always great fun.
Iam advised that Christobel, Sylvia Harmes-Cooke’s daughter will compete soon on behalf of the United Kingdom at a Special Athletic Event in the U.S.A., throwing the javelin. We wish her every success and hope we can see a medal first hand upon her return.
