SALUKI NOTES WEEK ENDING 16th OCTOBER 1998

On the front cover of this weeks ‘Our Dogs’ is a photograph of Miss Toula Lucas with judge, Mrs Diane Cook taken at the Junior Handlers Association Semi-finals at Richmond Championship Show. Toula won a first at Richmond in the 12-16 years Hound class. Pictured with Toula is Mrs Barker’s Tealby Sabaah of Tezeen. Toula handles three different dogs but says that Sabaah is her favourite. Well done Toula and Sabaah.

I have been requested to inform the readers of this column that these notes are available on the internet, a period of time after being printed in this publication. If anyone would like us to include information in the newspaper and not have it forwarded to the Saluki pages, on the net, I am happy to comply. Please, just let me know. The intension remains to provide an open and impartial forum to debate issues of health and general topics concerning Salukis. Over the last couple of years the debate has been enlarged via the internet and we believe that several positive situations have been produced simply due to the input from worldwide sources.
