SALUKI NOTES WEEK ENDING 12 NOVEMBER 1999

Tony and Daphne Parnham have given me the following information regarding the Welfare Stand. At the SGHC Championship Show, the stand made £244.00 and at the Northern Saluki Open Show (it was on 26th September, 1999) they make £64.00. A big tthank you to all those who have supported it.

Marie Bryce-Smith rang to say that Merlin (Ch. Mumtaz Moon Magic) had place 2nd in a Very competitive Champion Stakes. Also Nicola Quadling has asked me to let you know Of an error in the calendars. The Northern Saluki Club is being judged by Mr Brian Hill (Hekla) not Joanne Mahon as stated. Joanne is judging there next year.

The Midland Counties Show last Friday had an early start of 9a.m. The judge was Mr Mike Rawson. His DCC, BOB for his first CC was Mrs D Garratt's Glenoak Hvardi at Caryna. He was born on 6th November, 1994 and his breeders are Dr & Mrs L Hudson. His sire is Ch Glenoak Dareyeus and dam, Glenoak Calliope. The RDCC went to Mrs M. Bryce-Smith's Ch Kasaque Hyperion. BCC, for her second CC was Mrs Copperthwaite's Al Caliphs Madhura. RBCC went to Mrs R. Lewis' Ch Knightellington Zafa. There were no puppies.
