The East Midlands Social Region of the Irish Setter Breeders Club, have invited Salukiphiles to their seminar on SUNDAY 14th May, 2000 at Brailsford Village Hall, which is on the A52 NW of Derby.The subjects will be:

Gary Peskett of the British Sighthound Field Assoc has sent me an update on what going on in Lure chasing. The club is now in their eleventh sean. He says they have been fortunate with the wather having a super sunnydry day after continous rain and the going was soft with a few water-splashes to cool thing down. The cours was 675 metres long on good undulating ground. There were 565 hound entered. BOB for Salukis was Mr M.J McCormick-Smith's Mumtaz Star Sign. The next meeting is at the Gymkana Field at Makeney, nr Belper in Derbyshire on Monday 24th April. Please contact Gary on tel 01202 579394 for further information.
