As mentioned last week Ken Allan has kindly sent to me the results of his judging the Salukis at the Bundessieger- Zuchtschau, International Championship Show in Dortmund on October 18th. Ken provides the following :-

"My Best Of Breed, CACIB and Bundesieger winner was Ch. Khayif Esnan- Kalib, bred by Eva Mackowiak. Kalib, a male grizzle, went on to win the Hound Group. He also won the World Championship title in Austria earlier this year and was the top male Saluki in Germany for 1995. The bitch RBOB CACIB, CAC and Bundesieger was Qfudsayra Har Kala Rachi, owned by Annette Benoit. Of interest to U.K. readers is that Qfudsayra is the daughter of Shamal Shakhira bred by Mrs. Diane Merchant-Giles and is I believe, one generation away from Ch. Shamal Kharaz who was father of the mother."
