SALUKI (GAZELLE HOUND) BREED NOTES

SALUKI NOTES WEEK ENDING 1 JANUARY 1999

The Nothern Saluki Club has now published their criteria for inclusion on their judges’ list:

List A3: The applicant shall have judged a minimum of 32 classes of Salukis and a minimum of 100 Salukis at Open Shows and Breed Limited Shows over a minimum period of 5 years before the committee can consider inclusion of the judge’s name on this list.

List B: The applicant shall have judged a minimum of 15 classes of Salukis and a minimum of 50 Salukis at Open and Breed Limited Shows over a minimum period of 3 years before the committee can consider inclusion of the judge’s name on this list.

List C: The applicant shall apply to the committee in writing and demonstrate an interest in the breed and a desire to be included on a judging list, including details of any judging experience of Salukis to date before the committee can consider inclusion of the applicants on this list.
