" It is with the deepest sadness that I write this, but unfortunately we have been unable to contact friends around the world to tell them personally of our great loss. On the 20th of August 1997 after a very short illness our Afghan Hound bitch U.K Champion Tejas Sahuara sadly had to be put to rest. My most wonderful friend and companion Tasha took with her a large piece of our hearts and has left a space in my life that will never be filled. She was beautiful. a great show off adoring nothing more than applause from the ringside and in the great Afghan tradition as stubborn as hell. To those that knew her you will understand what we have lost, to those that didn't she was our 'special one'. She was the first 'Taco' grandkid to achieve a U.K title and I can only hope she is with her grandfather now and that he will take care of her for me until I cross the rainbow bridge to join her once more.
