ROMANIA SHOW SCENE
With thanks to Andrea Popa (andreapopa@excite.com) We have a little information about showing dogs in Romania, we will add to this as we learn more over time.Romania is a member of the F.C.I. (federation chinologique intl.), dogs are judged under the UK Breed Standard. Dog shows last one day only, the names of judges are not publicised until two weeks before the show. Entries usually close one week before the actual show takes place, and entry fees are around $10. Hotels and hospitality are very good!

The present leadership is assured by Mrs. Adrian BRATIANU as interim president and Mrs. Alice Gheoroaie as interim Vice-President. We hope to have country-wide elections for the National Hound Club at the beginning of 2001 (January/February).
