International Speciality Show - Afghans.
After 1 year, after the creation (on May 12 1996), the National Club of fans(amateurs) Afghans of Russia, included in Russian Kynological FEDERATION, has organized the first Specialized exhibition.
I had honour to be invited on a measure. When I have arrived in Moscow and me have informed, that is written down 160 participants, I was... Is excited (I there was the unique(sole) invited expert).
In the airport me has met the Secretary of Club Helene Alexeyeva, which wonderfully well speaks French. I had pleasure to go on the automobile on Moscow, to make the first impression, admiring most beautiful monuments to a history and architecture, I was surprised by finding out breadth of the prospectuses and streets, extent "of green parks "...
The exhibition passed for the following day, on territory of a sporting complex. A spacious ring allowed to the participants freely to move with dogs and easily to estimate their movements. Besides, the weather was very good, despite rare clouds.
In general, the classes were identical our on "Nationales
d'elevage" (Show National Breed of France), only with some changes.
The small puppis (are more younger than 6 months)
Puppis (from 6 till 9 months)
Teenagers (from 9 till 12 months)
Juniors (with 12 till 15 months)
Youngs (15 - 18 months)
Open class (18 months - 8 years)
"Russian breed" - for dogs, whose parents were born in Russia.
Victors - for dogs, receiving earlier the one title "CAC".
Champions.
"In bikini" - for cut of dogs.
Veterans (with 8 till 10 years)
Super-veterans (10 years) is more senior
Two titles "CAC" for the male and bitche (+ 2 "Res.CAC") were played. One "CAC" for the victor among best in a class young, open and Russian breed, and other "CAC" for the best of the victors and champions.
The receiving titles "CAC challenged a title of the Champion of National Club.
I have estimated the participants, in the basic good type, well combined, with beautiful expression and submitted in excellent(different) кондиции (125 participants from 160 written down in the catalogue).
After individual classes it was supposed to choose " of the Best Afghan of an exhibition " from group of the victors: a puppi, junior, "BOB", veteran and best "in bikini". To estimate competition of pairs of one owner and competition of dogs of one factory (on five, as a minimum).
The Russian Afghans occur in basic from import (not by way of the importance) from France, Germany, Scandinavia, USA and Canada.
After an exhibition me asked, - " whether there is, on my sight, " the Russian type "Afghans"? Being based on seen dogs I have answered negatively. It is possible, nevertheless, to notice similarity among the manufacturers and their children, but, on - my, not in general(common) weight Afghans, which were submitted on an exhibition.

it is the male,
which unites the first-rate qualities: is well balanced, simultaneously
powerful and elegant, with very good movements and highly holds a head.
I have estimated "sporting spirit" and correcty of the participants, together with "discipline", which has allowed to carry out(spend) a judging, without loss of time in intervals between numerous classes. I have expressed my congratulations to the organizers of this successful "premiere" and personally to the President of Russian Club to Mrs Olga Kosareva, which has presented me, on memory of this bottom, most beautiful souvenirs - Russian matryoschka, figure of the Afghan and video of perfect Russian city of St.-Petersburg.
One of the participants removed a taking place exhibition on video. Already for the following day it(he) has presented me one copy, as "live" memory of past bottom. Before to sit aboard the plane up to Paris, I have not for a long time visited small assembly - exchange / discussion of the several members of Russian Club. There reigned warm, friendly atmosphere between breeders and owners: this mutual understanding and is a basis for a good level of breed.
